This website
This site describes the Compile app. It has no accounts and nothing to sign up for.
- No accounts, no ad trackers, no cookies for tracking.
- We use privacy-friendly, cookieless page analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics).
-
If you open a plan someone shared with you by link, it is read in your browser and not
sent anywhere.

The Compile app
The app is local-first: your plans, workout history, and settings live on your device.
There are no accounts, and your training data is never uploaded.
-
The app sends anonymous usage events (which features are used, e.g. "a workout was
logged") and crash reports so we can fix problems and improve it. These carry a
random per-install id - no name, no email, no workout content. Crash reports also
include the device model, OS version and app version. Usage events are processed by
PostHog and crash reports by
Sentry. Turn them off any
time in Settings > "Share anonymous analytics".
-
Workout reminders are scheduled on your device as local notifications. No server is
involved and nothing is sent when a reminder fires.
-
When you share a plan by link, the plan itself is encoded in the link. Anyone with
the link can open it. It contains only the plan, not your workout history.
-
"Export my data" in Settings hands you everything the app knows as one file.
Deleting the app deletes your data with it.
- We never sell your data. There are no ads on any tier.
